Sally Chicane have put their dancy track “Concrete” to tape. In February 2017, Sally Chicane recorded three songs to tape at Infidel Studios, and they will launch the single “Concrete” for you on May 12. Penned by Michael Tozer, this track is light-hearted and fun and a change from Kristy’s usual serious lyrics. If you haven’t seen Sally Chicane live, you need to watch them play this song ‘cause it goes off. Concrete will be available to download on the usual platforms at a cost or free from the Sally Chicane website.
For the single launch, Sally Chicane will be joined by:
Blissphorus - a progressive rock project from three established members of the Canberra music scene yielding an exciting collection of material. Be among the first to experience Blissphorus live.
Organic Mechanic - a hard hitting hard rock four piece. Organic Mechanic combine the old school sounds of 70s rock with 90s grunge, a touch of modern psychedelic and a smattering of blues, funk and soul to create dense high energy rock, ranging from mellow ballads to lumbering behemoths.
Loud so Clear - with a goal of crooning like QOTSA and bluesing like the Black Keys, the LSC sound is loud, energetic and unmistakably rock. Fans often describe LSC as 90's Seattle for the modern age, however dig a little deeper and you will find a unique and original sound that is varied in style and approach but never compromising on energy. It is, after all, this energy that the LSC machine thrives on. A project that started in 2008 by long time collaborators, Nak and Neal, LSC has since gained a small but solid reputation that is spear headed by their energetic live show.
